Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend I.Khalilova / The Deputy Minister of Communication and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan, Iltimas Mammadov, said that the Ministry has presented to the Tariff Council of Azerbaijan a number of variants to regulate the tariffs for the telephone conversations.
According to him, the monthly payment for the population of Baku is planned to be increased, but generally tariffs are planned to be decreased for the international conversations, monthly payment of business-sector, enterprises and organizations.
"Presently reviews are collected and they are planned to be considered at the next meeting of the Tariff Council," Mammadov said. The proposals for per minute payment have been based on the international practice. The payments for the inhabitants of Baku are expected t be increased from AZN 0.66 to AZN 1.10.
