Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Babayeva / The State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan informs that over the period of January-February, the communications services amounting to AZN 89.7 mln have been provided in Azerbaijan, an increase of 16.5% as comprised to 2006.
Of them, 72.6% has been provided by the private companies. In addition, 78.4% of the revenues falls on the share of the communications services provided to the population. The revenues made from the mobile communication have increased by 23.1% and made up large part of the gross revenues in this sphere.
