Trend S.Babayeva / According to the information provided by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan, over the period of January-February 2007, the revenues of the Ministry amounted to AZN 28168800, against forecasts of 23495600. The Ministry has rendered services in amount of AZN 9871800, against forecasts of AZN 9481400. These indicators are more by 24.6% and 10.1% as comprised with the same period of 2006.
According to the information obtained by the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan, over the reported period, the amount of the communications services totaled AZN 89.7 mln, an increase of 16.5% from the same period of 2006. 72.6% out of the services has been rendered by the private companies.
The revenues from the mobile increased by 23.1% and made up the majority of the profits in this sphere.
