Azerbaijan, Baku/ Trend , corr S. Babayeva / Production Association "Azetelekom" of the Azerbaijan Telecommunication and IT Ministry has announcd the winner of the tnder on purchasing the equipment considering for using in telecommunication exchanges and junctions, Trend reports referring to the Production Association.
According to the decision made by the Tender Panel, the winner of th two-lot tender has become the local company - Kom Plas MMC. The subject of the past tender was to purchase fibro- and TPP- optical cables of various capacity (Lot 1), and buy transmission lines ( Lot 2).
Being the key enterprise of the Telecommunications and IT Ministry, Aztelekom is providing the population of the country with international and intercity telecommunication, including Baku City and Nakhchivan Autonomous republic. 54 enterprises, as well as the Baku International Telephone Exchange, Cable Main Technical Exchange, and Maintenance and Construction Department are subjected to the Production Association.
