Transparent Cell Phones Make Picture Taking Intuitive

( Mobilemag ) -Those crazy cats at Yanko Design are at it again, this time presenting to us the "What You See Is What You Get" cell phone featuring a clear upper section as a photo viewfinder. This way, you don't get the image filtered through an LCD screen: what you see really is what you get.

Designed by Pei-Hua Huang, an Industrial Design grad from NC State University, this concept project also comes with a full QVGA touchscreen display that adjusts to your needs, providing a keypad when you want to make a call, for example. Embedded in the clear section is a 50mm equivalent camera module good for snapshots with resolutions as high as three megapixels. The rest of the time, the clear part is pretty much useless.
