According to the Ministry, there is a great demand for implementation of the measures provided within the framework of the Foundation.
The Foundation includes about 20 IT companies, such as AZEL, Sinam, Ultra, Catel, Azercell, Bakcell, Azerfon, and Microsoft. Any other company of Azerbaijan wishing to join the Foundation is most welcome.
When the registration is completed the Foundation plans to hold its first meeting at which the board members of directors will be appointed.
The main purpose of the Foundation is to offer assistance to the local communication and IT staff in receiving education abroad. Private companies and the Ministry of Communication will provide financial support on this occasion.
