Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Babayeva / Over the period of January-March, the revenues of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan amounted to AZN 45,354,600 a major increase in comparison to the AZN 35,636,500 originally predicted, the Ministry informs. Services have been provided to the population in the amount of AZN 15,106,500 in comparison to predictions that the amount would come to AZN 14,300,000. These figures are more than 2.2% and 9.7% higher than 2006 figures.
Over the reported period, the Ministry has invested AZN 8,087,200 into IT development.
In 2007 the Ministry plans to invest AZN 29mln. In 2006 the amount of finances allocated by State enterprises amounted to nearly AZN 42 mln. The gross amount of money allocated to communications reached AZN 211.6 mln.
