Azerbaijan, Baku/ Trend / Azerbaijan's state-run telecommunication companies - PO Baktelekom and PO Aztelekom have put into commission new facilities, a source at the press service of the Azerbaijani Telecommunication and IT Ministry said.
PO Baktelekom put into operation a new electronic automatic telephone exchange (EATE) with the capacity of 880 telephone numbers in the Baku Suburb Settlements of Bina and Mardakan, new EATE with the capacity of 896 numbers in Azadlig Avenue and Buniyatzadeh Street in Baku City, and one in the 7th Micro-District of Baku City with the capacity of 880 numbers.
NGN stations with the capacity of 5504 numbers were put into use in the Baku suburb of Bilajari. A Karel EATE with the capacity of 1024 telephone numbers was put into operation in the settlement of Savalan.
PO Azetelekom put into commission EATEs in the rural areas of the following Azerbaijani Regions: Samukh, Barda, Aghstafa, Shamkir, Balakan, Neftchala, Absheron, Massali, Tartar and Oghuz.
