( Mobilemag ) - For those of you who don't know, Santa Rosa is the codename for Intel's fourth-generation Centrino platform. It was only released earlier this month, but BenQ has already produced a laptop featuring the technology. The BenQ Joybook S41 is quite the powerful Santa Rosa-powered notebook, featuring all sorts of goodies like nVidia GeForce 8600M graphics.
You get a 14.1-inch widescreen display for reasonable portability, up to 2GB of RAM to keep things speeding along, and a 160GB hard drive to store all your important documents and multimedia. You also get all four flavors of WiFi built-in (that includes Draft-N), a 1.3 megapixel webcam, HDMI output, and an ExpressCard slot.
BenQ is expected to start shipping the Joybook S41 later this month, but they have yet to release the pertinent pricing information.
