Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr S. Babayeva / The Development of Information Freedom, part of the NGO coalition, has developed a methodology to monitor the internet resources of state departments within the framework of the Assistance in Implementation of Citizens' Informational Freedom project
According to the 'Multimedia' NGO Centre, the methodology has been developed to estimate data accessibility via internet resources within state departments in accordance with the Law on Data Accessing.
The document provides for the definition of criteria and parameters necessary to estimate internet resources, the development of the rating table, reviews and reports on separate state sites, including recommendations.
Methodology includes qualitative and quantitative analyses and estimation of internet resources of state departments. The quantity implies the volume of data placed in a site, while quality implies urgency and richness of content.
The estimation will be held either by a score or co-efficient system. A rating table may be developed on the basis of the total scores.
Presentation of the methodology will be held during the round table to be held in Baku on 6 June.
