Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Babayeva / The Azerbaijani Education Ministry has summarized the results of the first national composition competition on 'Face to face with future generation' on 1 June.
The competition was initiated by the Azerbaijani Futurologist Association and organized through support of the Azerbaijani Education Ministry, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the State Committee on Family, Woman and Child Problems.
Forty-five finalists were selected among 875 authors who compositions on 15 topics.
Fifteen winners were defined on 15 topics and the rest 30 finalists shared the second and third places.
Four finalists were from Nakhchivan, 16 Baku, 2 Agdam, 2 Sungayit, 2 Fizuli, Geychay, Zakatala, Ali-Bayramli, Jalilabad, Khachmaz, Zardab, Kurdamir, Gusar, Goranboy, Samukh, Khirdalan and Gakh.
The competition was held among pupils of the 9 and 11 forms. Sixteen laptops, 15 digital cameras and 15 CD players were presented to the winners.
The selection of the winners was held by the jury of the Baku State University, the Azerbaijan Economic University, the State Administration Academy, the Heydar Aliyev Modern Education Complex and the Republican Center on Ecology Training and Practice.
