Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Babayeva / A total of 77 employees of the State enterprise of Azerpocht at the Azerbaijani Communication and Information Technology have passed their examinations due to the restructuring of the enterprise within the framework of the project of 'Development of financial services'.
In compliance with the project, Azerpocht will provide financial bank services by the end of 2007. A special commission was formed from 11 employees of the enterprise to monitor the exams. The Ministry has reported that the employees of the state enterprise who have successfully passed the exams will have to pass the last stage of the exams, namely an interview with the commission. The successful candidates will be appointed to work in Azerpocht and those who do not pass this stage will be employed to work at branches of the State enterprise. The whole selection process of Azerpocht staff will be completed by 12 August and the total number of staff will make up 105 people.
In compliance with the new structure the State enterprise will have 20 departments. Of the departments, 70% will continue its previous services and only 30% will be linked with new functions. The department will include the marketing department on postal and finance services, internal audit, department of informational equipments and many others. In compliance with the new structure Azerpocht will consist of a General Director and three deputies under him.
