Total turnover of the Toshkent Republic Stock Exchange (RSE) reached 3.2 billion soums during April 16-20 trade week, which is 44.8 percent less compared to the previous week (5.8 billion soums).
The press office of the exchange said that a total of 85 deals were carried out on securities of 15 joint stock corporations. As a result, 18.6 billion securities were realized.
The press office said that deals on securities of commercial and agricultural companies were the most popular and accounted for 67.4 and 29.4 percent of the total trade volume correspondingly.
The Alskom JS Insurance Company was a leader in number of deals carried out. During the week, 27,000 securities of the bank totaling 46.3 million soums were realized in 26 deals at the Toshkent RSE.
Average daily turnover of the exchange totaled 640.3 million soums, with average deal amount being 37.6 million soums.
Universal Bank PJSCB with 57.3 percent weekly turnover share, JONDOR PAXTA TOZALASH JSC with 29.4 percent, O'zsanoatqurilishbank JSCB with 10.1 percent, and Alskom JSIC with 1.4 percent were leaders of the trade week. They accounted for 98.2 percent of the total weekly turnover.
Since the beginning of 2018, 4,697 deals on securities amounting to 79.8 billion soums were carried out at Toshkent RSE. A total of 3.3 billion securities from 63 emitters were traded.
