Turkmenistan opens tender as part of TAPI gas pipeline project

Turkmenistan’s Turkmengas state concern has announced a tender as part of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline project.

The tender has been announced for preliminary assessment of compliance with the terms of the tender for the design, supply, construction and commissioning of two gas compressor stations at the Turkmen section of the TAPI gas pipeline.

The Turkmengas state concern has applied for loans from the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) to pay the cost of this tender. It is expected that invitations to the submission of tender proposals will be sent November 2018.

The companies that successfully pass prequalification stage of the tender for both lots will be automatically prequalified for each lot separately and will be eligible for awarding contracts for both lots or for each lot separately.

Eligible applicants can obtain a full set of preliminary assessment documents, compiled in English and Russian, after submitting a written application to the address given below, during working hours from Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 17:00 (GMT +5).

The documents can be sent by email. Applications for participation should be submitted in sealed envelopes sent to the address given below until 16:00, Sept. 5, 2018.

The envelopes should have the inscription “Application for participation in the preliminary assessment for the design, supply, construction and turnkey commissioning of two units of the compressor station at the Turkmen section of the TAPI gas pipeline.”
