Uzbekistan Airways to increase frequency of flights to Istanbul

Uzbekistan Airways national air carrier will increase frequency of flights from Tashkent to Istanbul from seven to nine times per week beginning from May 9, 2018, the press office of the company announced on April 18.

According to the information, the flights will be carried out on Wednesdays and Sundays.

It was reported earlier that in line with the agreement between Uzbekistan and Russia the frequency of flights between the two countries will be increased more than twofold.

There will be 21 more flights from Tashkent and 10 more flights from Samarkand to Moscow in Summer 2018.

Uzbekistan Airways will also open additional flights from Samarkand and Fergana to Russian city of Kazan.

The new direct flight Samarkand-Kazan will be carried out on Sundays, whereas the Fergana-Kazan flight will be carried out twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays.
