Turkish port accepted first cruise ship for this year

Turkish port located in Turkey’s south-western Aydin Province received its first cruise ship for this year, Trend reports referring to a statement by the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

A ship with 550 passengers and 372 crew members on board is the first cruise ship to arrive at the port of Kusadasi in Aydin Province this year.

"The Black Watch" cruise ship will stay in the waters of Turkey till 20:00 local time (GMT+3), after which it will go on a 107-day world tour," the statement reads.

According to the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the country was visited by 46.11 million tourists in 2018, which is 21 percent more compared to 2017.
