Uzbekistan plans to officially open new Silk Road Family Resort tourist beach zone, located on the territory of Tudakul reservoir of Navoi region on August 16, 2020, Trend reports with reference to the State Committee for tourism development.
According to the press service of the committee, there will be a beach, swimming pool, water park, small Disneyland, hotel for 50 seats, recreation area, restaurant, summer terrace, spa and a health center.
The zone will meet high international standards, said the report.
The total cost of the project on creation the beach, resort health complex and the water park is $6 million.
In July 2020, it was reported that a new recreation zone for tourists will be created in the territory of Aydar-Arnasay system of lakes in Jizzakh region.
Furthermore, Uzbekistan creates modern tourist facilities on the basis of vacant and abandoned recreation areas in Nanai village of Yangikurgan district in Namangan region.
