Turkmenistan receives batch of various trucks from Russia

The next batch of Russia's KAMAZ motor vehicles has been delivered to the international seaport of Turkmenbashi, Trend reports with reference to the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper.

The batch consists of 110 vehicles, including heavy-duty dump trucks, fuel trucks, mixer trucks, etc.

The buyers are a number of Turkmen ministries, including agriculture, construction, industry and communication, as well as the State Committee for Water Resources, the Turkmengeology state corporation , the Turkmenchemistry state concern, the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries (TCOR), the Turkmenbashi international sea port and others.

As part of a three-year contract for the supply of 2,000 Russian KAMAZ vehicles, the first batch of 982 vehicles was shipped to Turkmenistan in October 2019, according to the financial statements of the Russian manufacturer for the first three quarters of 2019.

The financial support is provided by VEB.RF (ex-Vnesheconombank) of Russia.

Turkmenistan is one of the biggest and stable markets for the sale of products of the leader of the Russian cargo machinery industry. Over the past ten years, Turkmenistan has received more than 9,000 KAMAZ trucks and special machinery units, and the company continues to promote the development of the country’s fleet of vehicles.

KAMAZ has its dealer network in Turkmenistan, which is represented in Ashgabat, Balkanabat, Mary and Turkmenabat cities.
