Cargo transshipment volume from Croatia via Turkish ports revealed

Volume of cargo transshipped from Croatia via Turkish ports amounted to 522,691 tons during November 2019, a source in the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend.

Transshipment of cargo from Croatia in November 2019 by ships flying the Turkish flag amounted to 85,068 tons, by ships flying flags of other countries to 437,623 tons of cargo.

During the reporting period, no cargo transshipment was implemented via by ships flying the flag of their country.

"During the reporting period, the volume of transit cargo transshipment from Croatia via Turkish ports amounted to 828,698 tons," the ministry said.

In November 2019, Turkish ports received 4,379 vessels, the gross tonnage of which amounted to 68 million tons.

In the reporting period, 1,577 vessels flying the Turkish flag and 2,802 vessels flying flags of other countries arrived at Turkish ports.

In November 2019, the gross tonnage of vessels arriving at Turkish ports flying the Turkish flag amounted to 11 million tons, and vessels flying the flags of other countries – 57 million tons.

From January through November 2019, Turkish ports received 50,987 vessels, the gross tonnage of which amounted to 728.7 million tons.

In the reporting period, 19,568 vessels flying the Turkish flag and 31,419 vessels flying the flags of other countries arrived at Turkish ports.

From January through November 2019, the gross tonnage of vessels arriving at Turkish ports flying the Turkish flag amounted to 111.8 million tons, and vessels flying the flags of other countries – 616.8 million tons.
