Iran to construct new roads in three provinces

Director General of Construction and Development of Roads in North Iran announced that 110 km of roads worth about $189 million will be commissioned in Gilan, Mazandaran and Semnan provinces by the end of the current Iranian year (began March 20, 2020).

" Of these 110 kilometers, 40-kilometer road will be constructed in Mazandaran province with an investment of $102 million,” Hassan Kalhori said, Trend reports citing IRNA.

In Gilan province, 29 km of road worth $50 million will be put into operation by the end of the Iranian year, said Kalhori.

The director general noted that 14-km road with a value of $28 million will be built at Anzali Port and 5-km road between Fuman and Saravan worth $7 million will be put into operation by the end of the year.

“In addition, 41 km of road worth $37 million will be launched in Semnan province by the end of current Iranian year,” he added.

Disclosing the details of the road construction project in Semnan province, the director general said that 30 km of Damghan-Moaleman road axis worth $23 million, 8 km of Semnan-Firouzkuh road axis worth $9.5 million and 3 km of Garmsar road axis worth $3.5 million also are to be constructed.
