Trend:

Turkey has announced the resumption of its flights to five cities of Iran, Association of Iranian Airlines (AIRA) secretary said.

“According to the announced schedule, every week, Turkey will operate 21 flights to Tehran, four flights to Tabriz and Shiraz, and two flights to Mashhad and Isfahan starting from September 1,” Maghsoud Asadi Samani said, Trend reports citing ISNA.

“With the resumption of Turkish flights to Iran, Iranian flights to Turkish cities will also be launched,” he said.

Asadi Samani noted the possibility of increasing the ticket prices for flights between Iran and Turkey.

“The price of the tickets on foreign routes is calculated based on the dollar rate; at the same time, it directly depends on the demand and the number of flights,” he said. “If the number of flights is low and demand is high, the prices are likely to rise.”

Referring to the resumption of travel tours to Turkey, he said that no decision has been made yet on the conducting travel and tourism tours to Turkey.
