Kazakhstan’s multimodal operator launches container shipment from China to Uzbekistan

Kazakhstan’s KTZ Express which is a multimodal operator has organized a turn-key container train shipment from China to Uzbekistan, Trend reports with reference to KTZ Express.

KTZ Express organized the shipment of the train on the China-Uzbekistan route with a full range of services, from loading and processing cargo to providing its own containers and using the terminal of the Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (Kazakhstan Railways).

Thus, 50 forty-foot containers of KTZ Express were sent from Yiwu Xi Station (PRC) on August 7.

The train, loaded with consumer goods, then proceeded through the Alashankou border crossing point, the Dostyk station (both at the China-Kazakhstan state border), the Sary-Agach - Keles (Russia) and Sergeli (Russia) junctions.

The train went on the route from China to Tashkent in transit through Kazakhstan in nine days.
