Turkmenistan to complete construction of two-level road interchange

BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 31

A two-level road interchange will be put into operation in the capital of Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, by the second half of September, Trend reports, citing the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.

To date, an underground tunnel, four pedestrian crossings have already been built.

The construction is carried out at the intersection of Saparmurat Turkmenbashi and Atamurad Niyazov avenues.

The construction is carried out by Turkmenistan’s Nusay ellary company, which is a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan.

The country is also repairing existing roads. As reported, Turkmenistan planned to repair 15-kilometer section of the Turkmenabat-Gazojak road passing through the Danev district of Lebap region.

The country is also in the process of improving the railways.

Earlier, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave a number of instructions to implementation of the program for the development and transformation of the railway industry of Turkmenistan from 2017 through 2030.
