A total of 346,000 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in the Bushehr port of the Bushehr Province (southern Iran) in the 6th month of the current Iranian year (August 22-September 21, 2020), Trend reports citing Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran (PMO).
In the 5th month of the current Iranian year (July 22-August 21, 2020), 312,000 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded at this port, the report added.
According to the report, about 209,000 tons of goods were loaded and 136,000 tons were unloaded in the sixth month.
“During the reporting month, 204,000 tons of goods were exported and 55,000 tons were imported through the Bushehr port,” the report said.
According to the report, at the same time, 3,940 tons of goods were loaded and 81,300 tons were unloaded for cabotage in the port.
“More than 1,180 tons of goods were loaded, and 529 tons were unloaded for other purposes over the same month at this port,” the report noted.
According to the report, 16,400 tons of essential products, 522 tons of metal products, 175,000 tons of construction materials and mining materials, 1,680 tons of equipment, vehicles, and spare parts were loaded and unloaded at the Bushehr port in the 6th month of the current Iranian year.
“In addition, 572 tons of leather, clothing, fiber, wood and other similar goods, 41,900 tons of container products and about 109,000 tons of oil products were loaded and unloaded during the reporting month,” the report said.
In total, 5.5 million tons of cargo were loaded and 4.5 million tons were unloaded through Iranian ports in the 6th month of the current Iranian year.
