Volume of cargo loaded, unloaded at Iran’s Anzali port announced

A total of 79,300 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in the Anzali port of the Gilan Province (northern Iran) in the 6th month of the current Iranian year (August 22-September 21, 2020), Trend reports citing Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran (PMO).

While in the 5th month of the current Iranian year (July 22-August 21, 2020), 100,000 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded at this port, the report added.

According to the report, about 13,300 tons of goods were loaded and 66,000 tons were unloaded in the sixth month of current Iranian year.

“During the reporting month, 13,100 tons of goods were exported and 62,900 tons were imported through the Anzali port,” the report said.

As many as 130 tons of goods were loaded and 2,820 tons were unloaded for transit through this port over the sixth month.

“More than 81 tons of goods were loaded and 235 tons were unloaded for other purposes over the same month at this port,” the report noted.

According to the report, 44,000 tons of essential products, 82 tons of metal products, 4,360 tons of construction materials and mining materials, 501 tons of equipment, vehicles, and spare parts, 4,960 tons of chemicals were loaded and unloaded at the Anzali port in the 6th month of the current Iranian year.

“In addition, 22,900 tons of leather, clothing, fiber, wood and other similar goods, 90 tons of other goods, 2,440 tons of container products and 2 tons of oil products were loaded and unloaded during the reporting month,” the report said.

In total, 5.5 million tons of cargo were loaded and 4.5 million tons were unloaded through Iranian ports in the 6th month of the current Iranian year.
