A total of 58,547 passenger cars were manufactured in Kazakhstan over the first 11 months of 2020, which is 47.9 percent more than during the same period of 2019, Trend reports with reference to Kazakhstan’s Statistics Committee.
In turn, passenger car production in Nov. alone amounted to 6,625 cars, which also is 24.7 percent more than in Nov. 2019.
The number of cargo vehicles manufactured in Kazakhstan during the reporting period stood at 7,217 vehicles (918 in Nov.), of specialized vehicles at 330 units (46 in Nov.).
Furthermore, the number of trailers, semi-trailers, and containers manufactured in Nov. 2020 amounted to 213, which is 88.5 percent more than during Nov. 2019. The number of trailers, semi-trailers, and containers manufactured over the reporting period stood at 1,979 vehicles, which is 2.3 times more than during the same period of last year.
In turn, spare parts for vehicle output amounted to 62,637 during 11 months of 2020 and 4,388 in Nov. 2020, which is 11.4 percent less and 5.6 percent more respectively than during the same period of 2019.
Some 24 diesel locomotives were also manufactured in Kazakhstan over 11 months of 2020 (2 in Nov.), and 477 cargo wagons (4 in Nov.).
