Iran’s PMO unveils volume of cargo loaded, unloaded in Jask port

BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 18

In general, 8,580 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in the Jask port of the Hormozgan Province (southern Iran) in the 1st month of the current Iranian year (March 21 through April 20, 2021), Trend reports citing the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

According to the statistics, about 7,430 tons of cargo were loaded and 1,150 tons were unloaded in the port over the reporting month.

In addition, 7,430 tons of cargo were exported through the Jask port during the first month, the statistics said.

“At the same time 1,150 tons of cargo were unloaded in this port for other purposes,” the statistics said.

According to the statistics, 7,430 tons of essential products and 1,150 tons of container products were loaded and unloaded in the Jask port within the 1st month of the current Iranian year.

As reported, more than 11 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the first month of the current Iranian year. This is an increase of 14.4 percent compared to the same month last Iranian year.
