Uzbekistan resumes flights to Tel Aviv

Uzbekistan Airways resumes flights on the Tashkent - Tel Aviv - Tashkent route, trend reports with reference to the press service of the company.

According to the information, the decision was made in connection with the improvement of the epidemiological situation in Uzbekistan and Israel, as well as in view of the planned phased restoration of the Uzbekistan Airways route network.

Uzbekistan Airways reports that the flight on Tashkent - Tel Aviv - Tashkent route was operated on May 24, 2021.

Also, it is noted that the regular flights on this route will be operated once a week, on Mondays.

It is reported that foreign citizens are prohibited from entering and transit to Israel. This list does not include citizens and residents of Israel, passengers with a permit issued by the Office of Population and Immigration.

In addition, passengers and crew members who have been outside Israel for more than 72 hours, entering or transit through this state, must have a PCR test for COVID-19 no earlier than 72 hours and get a negative result before departure from the first landing point.

In April, it was reported that IsrAir Israeli airline would organize a series of charter flights on Tel Aviv - Tashkent - Tel Aviv route. According to the information, the IsrAir Israeli had to start operating flights on Tel Aviv - Tashkent - Tel Aviv route from May 4, 2021. It was also reported that Israel will allow vaccinated tourist groups to enter the country starting May 23.
