Twenty subway cars of the 4-th generation 81-765 and B81-/766.B models, built by order of ‘Baku Metro’ CJSC at the Russian Mytishchi Machine-Building Plant of the ‘Metrovagonmash’ enterprise being part of Transmashholding JSC were sent to Baku, the CJSC’s Spokesperson Bakhtiyar Mammadov told Trend.
According to Mammadov, the first batch of new cars was sent on June 29, and the second - on June 30.
"Each batch consists of two head cars (locomotives). In the cars with improved thermal and noise insulation there are multifunctional zones for passengers, seats for oversized cargo, systems for children with disabilities, children with disabilities and disability," he noted.
Besides, according to the spokesperson, an air conditioning system was developed taking into account the technical conditions of the CJSC and in accordance with local climatic conditions.
"The new trains will go on the line after the adjustment work at the Narimanov electric depot," concluded Mammadov.
