A total of 24,000 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in the Jask port of the Hormozgan Province (southern Iran) in the 4th month of the current Iranian year (June 22 through July 22, 2021), Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).
So, about 17,900 tons of cargo were loaded and 6,100 tons were unloaded in the port during the fourth month. This is a decrease of 10 percent compared to the 3rd month of the current Iranian year (May 22 through June 21, 2021).
According to the statistics, 17,100 tons of cargo were exported and 5,640 tons were imported through the Jask port over the reporting month.
In addition, 498 tons of cargo were loaded and 498 tons were unloaded in this port for cabotage in the fourth month. As well as, 200 tons of cargo were unloaded for other purposes.
“About 16,300 tons of essential products, 996 tons of metal products, 579 tons of construction and mining materials, 210 tons of equipment, vehicles and spare parts, 200 tons of small and assorted products and 5,640 tons of container products were loaded and unloaded in the Jask port in the 4th month of the current Iranian year,” the statistics said.
As reported, about 12.5 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the fourth month of the current Iranian year. Of this, 6.99 million tons were loaded and 5.5 million tons were unloaded. This is an increase of 20.8 percent, compared to the same month last Iranian year.
