Kazakhstan increased import number of cargo vehicles in September 2021, Trend reports referring to Kazakhstan's Statistics Committee.
According to the statistics, this indicator amounted to 1,375, up by 15.2 percent compared to August 2021, and 5.3 percent more than in September 2020.
The total production and import number in September this year equaled 2,213 cargo vehicles (a growth by 9.3 percent in monthly terms and decline by 5.1 percent year on year), of which 1,375 were imported (a rise by 15.2 percent in monthly terms and by 5.3 percent year on year), and 838 cargo vehicles produced (a decrease by 18.3 percent year on year and growth by 0.8 percent in monthly terms).
Meanwhile, 2,045 cargo vehicles were sold on the domestic market (growth by 10.7 percent compared to August 2021 and 7.1 percent less than in September last year) and the rest 168 cargo vehicles exported (a growth by 28.2 percent on annual basis and reduction by 5.1 percent compared to August 2021).
In the first nine months of this year, total production and import number of cargo vehicles equaled 16,558, which is 41.6 percent more than in the same period of last year.
The number of cargo vehicles exported in the reporting period amounted to 1,026 (an increase of 62.6 percent compared to 9M2020), and 15,532 sold on the domestic market (a growth of 40.4 percent).
