Loading/unloading activity at Iran’s Jask Port down

The volume of cargo loaded and unloaded in the Jask port of the Hormozgan Province (southern Iran) decreased by 46 percent in the 10th month of the current Iranian year (December 22, 2021, through January 20, 2022), compared to the 9th month (November 22 through December 21, 2021), Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

According to the statistics, about 10,200 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in this port in the 10th month.

So, 8,050 tons of cargo were exported and 2,160 tons were imported through the Jask port over the 10th month.

“About 8,050 tons of essential products and 2,160 tons of container products were loaded and unloaded in the Jask port in the 10th month of the current Iranian year,” the statistics said.

About 17.9 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the 10th month of the current Iranian year. Of this, 11.9 million tons were loaded and 6.03 million tons were unloaded. This is an increase of 42 percent, compared to the same month last Iranian year.
