Kazakhstan Railways company talks digitalization of documentation

Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC (Kazakhstan Railways) pays great attention to digitalization, as far as documentaation is concerned, Batyr Kotyrev, chief engineer of the company, director of the technical policy department, told Trend.

In particular, he said digital document work is in place with the Russian Railways OJSC.

Moreover, Kotyrev added that an agreement on e-data interchange has been concluded with the China Railway Corporation and the negotiations are underway to sign an additional agreement in terms of supplementing the technical specification of the CIM/SMGS consignment note and shipping documents (invoice, packing list).

“IFTMIN (e-transport instruction) are exchanged with the Kyrgyz railway company and are duplicated on paper documents,” chief engineer of the company said.
