BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 18. The number of passengers transported through Iranian airports domestically increased by 40 percent, in the 1st month of the current Iranian year (March 21 through April 20, 2022), compared to the same month last Iranian year, as was reflected in the statistics of Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company (IAC), Trend reports.
According to the statistics, more than 2.62 million passengers were transported through Iranian airports for the first month.
Meanwhile, in the same month of last Iranian year, the figure stood at over 1.87 million.
