Azerbaijan exports over 470 million kW/h of electricity between Jan.- Nov.

Azerbaijan exported 473 million kilowatt/hours of electricity between January and November compared to 737.74 million kilowatt/hours during the same period last year.

Azerbaijan exported 473 million kilowatt/hours of electricity between January and November compared to 737.74 million kilowatt/hours during the same period last year.

This was stated in the report of the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee, published on its official website.

According to the report, electricity was exported to a total amount of 24.2 million manat, compared to about 37.1 million manat last year.

In January-November, Azerenergy (production and distribution of electricity in Azerbaijan) generated more than 19.2 billion kilowatt/hours of electricity compared to about 17.9 billion kilowatt/hours of electricity in January-November last year.

The power generation capacity of the plants owned by Azerenergy is more than six thousand megawatts.

There are more than 200 substations with capacities of 500, 330, 220 and 110 kV, as well as six and 13 hydroelectric power plants under the JSC.
