BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 23. Kazakhstan's KazMunayGas company’s net profit including its share in the income of joint ventures and associates from January through September 2022 increased by 15.9 percent, Trend reports, citing the company’s financial highlights.
According to the report, this figure totaled 1.16 billion Kazakh tenge ($2.5 million), compared to 1 billion Kazakh tenge ($2.3 million) of net profit gained over the same period of 2021.
Meanwhile, the company’s net profit adjusted for the share in profits of joint ventures and associated companies over the reporting period of 2022 amounted to 634 billion Kazakh tenge ($1.3 million), which is a slight decrease of 0.4 percent, compared to 637 billion Kazakh tenge ($1.5 million) recorded from January through September 2021.
At the same time, KazMunayGas’s revenue in the reporting period of 2022 increased by 47.4 percent – from 4.5 billion Kazakh tenge ($10.8 million) over the first 9 months of 2021 to 6.7 billion Kazakh tenge ($14.7 million).
