Kazakhstan, Astana, 11 November / Trend , corr. K.Konirova /Under the decree of the Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev, Adilbek Dzhaksybekov was appointed as an ambassador of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation, a press release that was placed on the Ak-Orda website reported.
Dzhaksybekov, 54, served as the Mayor of Astana in 2002 and Minister of Industry and Trade in 2004.
Rcently Dzhaksybekov served as the first
deputy chairman of the ruling "Nur Otan party ".
Earlier, the Kazakh Embassy in the Russian Federation headed by Nurtay Abykaev, who in October 2008, was appointed first deputy minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.
