President of Kazakhstan signed law "On ratification of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Treaty on Long-Term Friendship and Cooperation of member states" on Wednesday, reported press service of the President.
SCO member states include China, Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. SCO observers are India, Iran, Mongolia and Pakistan, CA-NEWS reported.
On the same day the President signed law "On ratification of the Optional Protocol to the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights."
