Marat Tazhin appointed assistant to president – secretary of Security Council upon Kazakh president's decree
Marat Tazhin was appointed assistant to the Kazakh president - secretary of the Kazakh Security Council upon the Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev's decree on September 5. The Kazakh President dismissed Tazhin from a position of foreign minister, KazTag said.
Before, Tazhin was head of the analyses and strategic research center, assistant on national security to the president, chairman of national security committee, secretary of the Kazakh Security Council.
He worked as Kazakh foreign minister since January 2007.
