Kazakhstan to bid for EXPO in 2017

On June 10 Kazakhstan will submit an official application in Paris to host an international specialized exhibition EXPO in Astana in 2017, Kazakh MFA's spokesman Askar Abdrakhmanov said, Kazinform reported.

Moreover , Astana 's candidacy will be officially represented on June 14 within the 149th session of the General Assembly of the Bureau of International Exhibitions involving the representatives of 150 member - states.

The t opic of the exhibition to be proposed by Kazakhstan i s 'Energy of future'.
