On 16 June Kazakh Embassy to Belarus hosted photo exhibition devoted to 20th anniversary of independence of Kazakhstan, Kazinform reported
The exhibition entitled "Kazakhstan: 20 years of peace and creation" presented works of famous Kazakh and foreign authors. Photographs illustrated the life of the modern Kazakhstan, monuments of architecture and arts, portraits of ordinary people, festive events pictures etc.
CIS ambassadors and permanent representatives, diplomatic missions accredited in Minks, Belarus officials, intellectuals and media attended the event.
"20 years of independence played the special place in the country's history. That was the period of economic, social and political transformations", Kazakh Ambassador to Belarus Anatoliy Smirnov said.
