Kazakhstan and Guatemala have established diplomatic relations, Kazinform reported.
Respective joint communiqué was signed in Moscow by Ambassadors of Kazakhstan and Guatemala in Russia.
"I believe our countries will get a potent impetus for further political, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation in the interests of our nations," Kazakh Ambassador in Moscow Zautbek Turisbekov said at the signing ceremony.
Guatemala became the 103rd country which Kazakhstan has diplomatic ties with.
