Cyprian President Dimitris Christofias invited President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev to visit his country, Kazinform reported.
"I invited President Nursultan Nazarbayev to visit Cyprus," Christofias said after a meeting with Nazarbayev in New-York on Wednesday in the sidelines of the 66th UN General Assembly.
"We do not have any problems in our bilateral relations," he added. " We decided to exchange visits of Foreign Ministers".
President Nazarbayev is participating in the 66th session of UN General Assembly and High-Level Meeting on Nuclear Safety and Security, which opened in New York on Sept. 21. Under his visit to New York Nazarbayev held a number of bilateral meetings with his foreign counterparts.
Presidents Nazarbayev and Christofias also discussed prospects for development of bilateral relations, as well as the issues of the 66th session of the UN General Assembly.
