Kazakh President urges to strengthen rule of law

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev gave a number of instructions on further strengthening the rule of law in the country to Prosecutor General Askhat Daulbayev, Kazinform reported.
Nazarbayev has today received Daulbayev. He informed Nazarbayev about the status of law and order in the country, and also reported on progress in implementing the President's instructions.
The meeting discussed the issues of legality in correctional institutions, in the field of environmental protection and ongoing work on combating religious extremism and terrorism, protection of labor rights.
Nazarbayev also gave a number of instructions on improvement of legislation aimed at ensuring respect for human rights and freedoms of citizens and the interests of the state and society.
