Kazakhstan, Astana, Nov. 9 / Trend , A.Maratov /

The Kazakh Prosecutor General's Office stated that the law enforcement agencies fully control the situation in the country, Spokesman Nurdaulet Suindikov said at a press briefing in Astana today.

"The law enforcement agencies fully control the situation in the country and acts of terrorism will be further stopped and perpetrators brought to justice and punished in accordance with our laws," Mr Suindikov said.

He said the leader of the terrorist organisation Jund al Khilafah, or Soldiers of the Caliphatea, Kazakh citizen Habidolla Rinat issued a statement on the Internet on Oct.25 and Nov. 1 making threats to Kazakhstan and then took responsibility for the attacks in Atyrau.

He said the Jund al Khilafah was founded in summer of 2011, by Kazakh citizens, Habidolla RinatUrynbasar Munatov and Damir Znaliyev to unleash jihad in the territory of Kazakhstan.

Based on the Prosecutor General's office information, these individuals are currently hiding in the Afghan-Pakistani border region and are involved in the fighting on the side of international terrorists.

"I would like to note that misunderstanding the true canons of Islam by young people and ardour for an ideology alien to our people, religious movements, leads to disastrous consequences," Mr Suindikov said.

"In this connection I would like to encourage our citizens to be vigilant, do not panic and do not to yield to similar provocations."
