Kazakh, Russian presidents discuss bilateral cooperation

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev and his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev discussed bilateral cooperation and interaction within the Common Economic Space in Moscow on Wednesday, Russian President's press-service reported.
President Medvedev said that the two sides attached great importance to the negotiations on the further integration. The signing of integration documents is a very important step in establishing integrated agencies between two countries.
President Nazarbayev said that Customs Union brings significant benefits for the participating countries.
"Kazakh trade turnover within Customs Union increased by 40 percent, including 57 percent increase in turnover with Russia and a two-fold increase with Belarus," Nazarbayev said.
Nazarbayev said that the Common Economic Space is the next stage of integration within the countries.
