Norbert Jousten, the Head of the European Union's Delegation to Kazakhstan, is completing his diplomatic mission in the republic, Senate of Kazakhstan said.
"Today, chairman of the Kazakh Senate Kairat Mami received the Ambassador, Head of the EU Delegation to Kazakhstan Norbert Jousten due to completion of his mission," the Senate said.
Mami thanked the European diplomat for his efficient work and stressed his considerable contribution to the development of the Kazakh-European cooperation.
"The European Union is an important strategic partner of Kazakhstan," Mami said.
He said Kazakhstan and the EU have the objective opportunities to bring the bilateral cooperation to a new level.
