Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair discussed the development of large-scale program on modernization of Kazakh economy in Astana, Kazakh president's press-service reported on Wednesday.
"The development of large-scale program on upgrading Kazakh economy, as well as a wide range of international issues, in particular the situation in the European Union and the Middle East," the report said.
Earlier Kazakhstan and signed Blair a one-year contract on cooperation. According to the contract, Blair will advise the country on economic reforms.
