Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev and King of Jordan Abdullah II Bin Al-Hussein during their telephone conversation discussed state and prospects of bilateral relations, Kazakh presidential press-service reported on Monday.

Moreover, the parties discussed the situation in the Middle East.

Nazarbayev congratulated the Jordanian monarch on his 50th anniversary and informed him about a decision to name one of the streets in Astana in honor of King Hussein Bin Talal. Hussein Bin Talal is the father of the incumbent King of Jordan.

Moreover, President Nazarbayev invited King Abdullah II to attend the 4th Congress of World and Traditional Religions, to be held in Astana on May 30-31. The invitation was accepted by the Jordanian leader.
