There is no Kazakh citizen among those injured and killed in Syria and the Maldives, Kazakh Foreign Ministry representative Altai Abibullayev said at a news briefing on Monday.
"According to the report we received from our embassy in Jordan also with residence in Syria, there is no Kazakh citizen among those injured and killed in the Syrian citizens. With regard to the situation in the Maldives there is no Kazakh citizen among those injured according to the report of consular department of Kazakhstan in India, which also covers this region, according to preliminary data" Abibullayev said.
He said at present Kazakhstan Foreign Ministry actively cooperates with law enforcement and local authorities to provide information about the Kazakh citizens, which may be in those countries.
